Secure Process
Built to move with the weather, not around it.
Every fabric roof we install is engineered as one system — canvas, frame, motor, and sensors — so it responds automatically to sun, wind, and rain.
Weatherproof canvas
Solution-dyed, marine-grade acrylic fabric stretched drum-tight across a rigid frame — treated to resist UV fade, water pooling, and mildew for years of daily use.
Motorised control
Open, close, or set a pitch from a wall switch, RF remote, or phone app — no manual cranking, no ladders, no second person needed.
Wind & rain sensors
Integrated sensors trigger an automatic retract the moment weather turns, protecting the fabric, the frame, and everything sheltered underneath.
From open sky to full shelter, without you lifting a finger.
Sense
Rooftop sensors continuously monitor wind speed and rainfall, watching for conditions outside the safe operating range.
Signal
The moment a threshold is crossed, the control unit sends an instant retract command to the motor — no app or switch needed.
Shelter
The canvas folds along its pleats into the housing in under a minute, leaving a clean, fully covered roofline.
Engineered without compromise, finished without excess.
Every component is chosen for what it has to survive — sun, monsoon, and years of daily use — then finished to disappear quietly into your architecture.
Marine-grade aluminium frame
Powder-coated to resist salt air, corrosion, and years of sun without fading or pitting.
Solution-dyed acrylic canvas
Colour runs through the fibre, not just the surface — 15+ shades that won't bleach or streak.
Motor precision, under 60 seconds
A quiet, torque-controlled motor extends and retracts the full canopy smoothly, every time.
5-year frame warranty

Speak to retractable roof experts in India
A retractable roof lets you draw back the fabric covering when you want a more open space, then extend it for shade and shelter. BuildSky’s New Delhi team helps plan motorised fabric roof systems for terraces, patios, balconies and outdoor dining areas, with each layout assessed around its support and exposure.
Discuss the clear opening, projection, fabric choice, frame finish, motor controls and water runoff before ordering. Optional sensors or control integrations should be confirmed for the selected configuration. The final quotation should identify installation, transport, electrical and structural work rather than assuming these are included.
If you are comparing retractable roof experts in India, ask how they assess fixing points, fabric tension, drainage and maintenance access. Our site inspection and roof and pergola installation guide explain what to prepare. Share your city to confirm availability.
Compare this system with a motorised aluminium louvred roof if adjustable blades are a better fit. Add guided zip screens where side glare or privacy also needs attention.
Retractable Fabric Roof questions
Does the roof covering retract?
Yes. This page describes a retractable fabric covering. The opening direction, folded fabric position and usable opening depend on the selected system and layout.
Can a retractable roof be used for restaurant seating?
It can be considered for outdoor dining, subject to site suitability, clearances, safe access, drainage and any permissions needed for the property. Share the layout and usage with the team.
Is the roof suitable for every weather condition?
Operating limits depend on the selected product and installation. Ask for its stated weather guidance and use any fitted sensors correctly. Avoid assuming that every retractable roof is stormproof.
How do I request a retractable roof quote?
Send approximate dimensions, site photographs, your city and the intended use. Use the price calculator for an indicative amount, then confirm the scope through a measured quotation.
